Elements of Wellness

The Health and Wellness unit at Western Carolina University provides intentional collaboration for the promotion of overall wellness encouraging students to be involved, healthy and well. The university uses a holistic approach to support student wellness and has a variety of facilities, programs, and services in place to support a healthy and balanced lifestyle. The elements of wellness encompass the full student experience—from class activities to informal recreation, physical and psychological health to social development. Students are encouraged to think of wellness as a lifelong goal.

Bingocize® expands to North Carolina with $1.1 million grant awarded to WCU

Faculty at WCU have been awarded $1,165,955 from the Civil Money Penalty Grant for Medicare and Medicaid Services that will allow them to oversee Bingocize® and use the program in North Carolina.
