Paws for a Cause: 2023 Whee Beat Hunger Initiative
WCU Campus and Local Organizations
September 11 - December 9
The Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning has identified fifteen Impact Focus Areas that address critical, community-identified, regional needs. One of those Impact Focus Areas is Poverty and Food Insecurity. This fall semester CCESL is hosting Paws for a Cause: Whee Beat Hunger. The goals of this campus-wide initiative are to raise awareness about the realities of food insecurity on campus and in our local community as well as facilitate events that help support food security efforts.
