WCU is conducting a national search to fill the dean’s position currently held by Douglas Keskula, who announced in April 2018 his intention to return to a faculty position.
“Transformative Global Pediatric Nursing Education: International Mentoring Partnership,” an article by Sharon Metcalfe, associate professor in WCU’s School of Nursing, has been published in “Transformative Global Partnerships,” a special edition of the international journal Transformative Dialogues.
The honor stems from a collaborative effort involving students in natural resources and conservation management, environmental science, computer information systems and graphic design.
A fundraising campaign has begun to create a $25,000 endowment to assist students as they become involved in service learning.
The course is designed to deliver comprehensive and objective information to help participants achieve their most important financial goals.
The exercise program will be held during the lunch hour on six successive Fridays, Feb. 1 through March 8, at the Campus Recreation Center.
Sessions will be held Feb. 7-8 at WCU's instructional site at Biltmore Park in Asheville.
