García-Castañón’s poetry collection published in Argentina
Santiago García-Castañón’s poetry collection “Las huellas de Erató”was recently published by Editorial Dunken in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This is his 11th published poetry collection and his 20th book altogether.
The week of March 10-15, during WCU’s spring break, the WCU professor of Spanish will be on a lecture tour in Hong Kong. During his five-day stay in the Far East, he will give the following lectures:
- Monday, March 11: “Faulty Borrowings: (Mis)Used Foreign Language Expressions in American English” at Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
- Wednesday, March 13: “Don Quixote and the World of Cervantes” at Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
- Thursday, March 14: “The Challenges of Translating English Classical Poetry into Spanish Verse” at Hong Kong Baptist University.
