WCU going against Clemson in ‘top adventure college’ competition

Western Carolina University defeated West Virginia University in the second round of Blue Ridge Outdoors magazine’s “top adventure college” competition and is now matched up against Clemson University in the third round.

The magazine’s contest includes colleges and universities meeting in head-to-head matchups in a 32-school bracket. The college or university receiving the most votes through an online readers’ poll in each round advances to the next round.

Third-round voting continues through 11 a.m. Monday, March 18. If WCU moves up in the contest, the university will be pitted against Liberty University or James Madison University in the fourth round. A championship round of voting for the title of “best adventure college” will take place March 25-30.
