The concert and jam session will be held at MadStone Cafe and Catching Light Books, which is located on the ground floor of Noble Hall on the WCU campus.

Finalists for health and human sciences dean’s position to visit

WCU is conducting a national search to fill the dean’s position currently held by Douglas Keskula, who announced in April 2018 his intention to return to a faculty position.

“Transformative Global Pediatric Nursing Education: International Mentoring Partnership,” an article by Sharon Metcalfe, associate professor in WCU’s School of Nursing, has been published in “Transformative Global Partnerships,” a special edition of the international journal Transformative Dialogues.   


Initiatives involving trees lead to university gaining Tree Campus USA status

The honor stems from a collaborative effort involving students in natural resources and conservation management, environmental science, computer information systems and graphic design.   


Service-learning program reflects continuing transformation, adopts new name

A fundraising campaign has begun to create a $25,000 endowment to assist students as they become involved in service learning.
