School of Music schedules student ensemble recitals in one concert

Groups scheduled to appear are the WCU Horn Choir, the university tuba and euphonium quartet, two saxophone quartets and the Balsam Brass Quintet.

Permanent staff members who have a year or more of service at the university are eligible, with maximum individual funding set at $750.  


‘Japanese Language and Culture’ course offered at Biltmore Park

The class will meet on Tuesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. beginning Oct. 22 and continuing through Nov. 19.

Graduates, dean’s/chancellor’s list announced from summer sessions

The university conferred degrees on 237 students who completed their studies, and 124 students have been named to the dean’s list.
