A member of a family with deep roots in Jackson County has established an endowed scholarship fund at WCU that will support students in the College of Arts and Sciences in honor of a family patriarch.

Chancellor Kelli R. Brown and Kandi Deitemeyer, president of Central Piedmont CC signed a memorandum of understanding that guarantees admission to WCU for all CPCC graduates who satisfy certain requirements.
