The John W. Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center aims to provide an inclusive and welcoming environment where individuals with disabilities may fully participate in the arts at WCU. Our team utilizes best practices in universal design and provides access to accommodations to ensure access to programming at the WCU Fine Art Museum and BAC Performance Hall.   • Assistive listening devices are available at no charge at the box office on a first come, first served basis. Please return the device to the Box Office or to a member of the house staff at the end of the performance.
  • Noise cancelling devices are available at no charge at the box office on a first come, first served basis. Please return the device to the Box Office or to a member of the house staff at the end of the performance.
  • Low vision seats in the BAC Performance Hall are available by request and are available at no additional charge. 
  •  Large print programs for BAC Performance Hall Performances and these are available on a first come, first served basis. Please locate these programs at Will Call across from the Box Office before performances. 
  • Large print lables
  • Color deficiency corrective glasses (color blindness correction glasses) are available for visitors to checkout at the WCU Fine Art Museum front desk. The glasses BAC currently offer are below:
    • Pilestone Wayfarer Classic Adult Size - Lens C, Indoor (Mild Deutan or Protan)

    • Pilestone Wayfarer Classic Child Size - Lens A, Universal (Mild/Moderate Deutan or Protan)

  • Booster seats are available at no charge at the box office on a first come, first served basis. Please return the seats to the booster seat storage area at the stairwell closest to the Box Office or to a member of the house staff at the end of the performance.
  • Parking
    • Measure from parking lot to front door
    • The BAC parking lot has seven handicapped parking spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis. Passengers may be dropped off and picked up at the entrance to the Performance Hall at any time by drivers circling the parking lot.
  • Restrooms
    • Measure from the handicap bathrooms to first seat
