Western Carolina University’s School of Music will hold a series of recitals and musical performances on campus throughout November, with all events free and open to the public.

All events take place in the recital hall of the Coulter Building, unless otherwise noted:

• Friday, Nov. 1, 8 p.m., guest artist John O’Conor, piano
• Sunday, Nov. 3, 5 p.m., “An Evening of Operetta” concert
• Tuesday, Nov. 5, 7:30 p.m., faculty recital by Travis Bennett, horn
• Wednesday, Nov. 6, 7:30 p.m., recital by the WCU Trumpet Studio
• Thursday, Nov. 7, 7:30 p.m., concert by the WCU Chamber Singers
• Friday, Nov. 15, 7:30 p.m., concert by the WCU Wind Ensemble in the John W. Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center performance hall
• Monday, Nov. 18, 7:30 p.m., concert by the Civic Orchestra
• Tuesday, Nov. 19, 7:30 p.m., concert by the WCU Percussion Ensemble in the Bardo performance hall
• Thursday, Nov. 21, 7:30 p.m., concert by WCU Commercial and Electronic Music students
• Friday, Nov. 22, 1:25 p.m., concert by the WCU Tech Ensemble
