Western Carolina University’s School of Music will hold a series of recitals and musical
performances on campus throughout September, with all events free and open to the
public.

All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and take place in the recital hall of the Coulter
Building, unless otherwise noted:
- Guest recital by Doug Lindsey, professor of trumpet at Kennesaw State University,
Monday, Sept. 9
- School of Music faculty showcase, Tuesday, Sept. 10
- Guest recital by Wojtek Komsta on clarinet, Tuesday, Sept. 17. Komsta performs a program
of classical and Latin American music featuring the clarinet. He will be joined by
WCU faculty musicians Lillian Buss Pearson, piano; Shannon Thompson, clarinet; and
Will Peebles, bassoon
- Guest artist Mark Tonelli on jazz guitar, Monday, Sept. 23
- Student recital Wednesday, Sept. 25, 1:25 p.m.
- Horn Studio, Thursday, Sept 26
