The University Communications and Marketing team was the winner of two Best of CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) District III awards.
University photographer Ashley Evans was a winner in the Photography Series category for her photos in the “We Will Not Be Silenced: Standing for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women” series. Earlier this year, Evans won a CASE Circle of Excellence award for the same series.
Also winning a Best of CASE District III award was Marlon Morgan in the Writing: News Feature category for the fall issue of WCU Magazine’s cover story, “Stigmatized,” which centered on the stigmas related to mental health.
