Congratulations to Kendall Rhymer, a double major in Music Education and Philosophy & Religion, she just won top prize in the Sounding WCU Art Contest for a unique visual/sound composition they created focusing on the relationship between Cherokee people and our university, The work featured Tom Belt speaking Cherokee as well as snare drum and footage from around campus. She also won $400 and they are donating to a charity of Tom's choosing.
