Join us in the pool for a great workout! Participants will enjoy a variety of aqua exercises designed to increase cardiovascular endurance. At times, additional equipment, such as water buoys, will be utilized. Benefits of water aerobics included allowing a person to exercise every muscle and every joint in the body all at the same time. The most important benefit of water aerobics is that almost anyone, no matter their age, can perform water aerobics. Because the water causes your body to be buoyant, this causes less strain and stress on your joints and muscles.
New 2-day Format
To accommodate new COVID distancing guidelines and also to allow more people to participate, the Spring 2022 session will give participants the option of registering for 1 of 2 two-day sessions. One group will meet only on Mondays and Wednesdays and another group will meet only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please note: Aqua Zumba will only be taught on Wednesdays. It will not be possible to switch days during the week. So if you are in the Monday/Wednesday group, you will stay in that group throughout the semester. As a result, we've reduced the cost for the semester to $50.00.
Each 2-day session will be limited to 15 participants each.
Class will not meet on holidays and university breaks.
