Western Carolina has offered degree programs in Asheville for more than 80 years. In 2012, the university relocated its Asheville instructional site to Biltmore Park Towne Square and began an ongoing expansion of offerings. WCU’s Asheville location focuses on professional and graduate degrees for working students, partnering with local industry to provide education and training in the most in-demand fields.
**COVID-19 Updates: The UNC University System has shifted all face-to-face classes to online systems at this time. WCU Programs in Asheville at Biltmore Park is currently open on a limited basis. Only key holders can access the third floor. The first floor meeting spaces and study areas are open between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm. Please note that the space is not allowed to accomodate more than 10 people at any time.
WCU offers a wide variety of graduate degrees at Biltmore Park with a focus on professional, evening programs designed with the working student in mind.
Bachelor’s programs in engineering and nursing are available with flexible class schedules, allowing students to complete their degree without sacrificing their careers.
WCU partners with regional industry to provide professional development at Biltmore Park, including CPE credits for various professions.
Biltmore Park offers multiple simulation labs for health professionals in WCU’s Asheville-based programs including the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, the Family Nurse Practitioner degree, the Nurse Anesthesia degree, and our Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
Biltmore Park offers engineering labs to support WCU's Asheville-based Bachelor of Engineering with a Mechanical Focus program and distance Bachelor of Engineering Technology program.
Biltmore Park offers a 14 seat conference room and two classrooms featuring full video-teleconferencing ability through BlueJeans Network©.
