STL’s Dr. Roya Scales has been selected for the A.B. Herr Award by ALER
Congratulations to Dr. Roya Scales who has been selected for the 2022 A.B. Herr Award by the Association of Literacy Educators and Researchers. This annual award, begun in 1972, is presented for distinguished service in reading. It recognizes a professional educator who has made outstanding contributions to the field of reading. She will be honored in November at the upcoming 2022 ALER Conference in Denver, Colorado.
