Couture's Chilean Cat (and Conference)

March 6 – 8, Dr. Mark Couture participated in the XXIII Congreso Internacional de Literatura y Estudios Hispánicos in Santiago, Chile.  He presented a paper, titled “The Plurality of Chaos in La muerte de Artemio Cruz.”  The novel he discussed deals with the corruption of the ideals of Mexican Revolution.  He took advantage of Spring Break to remain in Chile a few days to explore Santiago and nearby Valparaíso and Viña del Mar.

In case you are wondering, the cat in the other picture was a little cute feline which hanged out at Mark's hotel in Santiago. Apparently, it was very friendly.
