WCU Students Travel

 

First priority for participation in the program will be given to members of WCU’s top two giving societies – the Madison Legacy Society and Cullowhee Society. The Madison Legacy Society recognizes donors who have made planned gifts to the university or to the WCU Foundation, while the Cullowhee Society acknowledges cumulative giving of gifts totaling $100,000 or more.

Participants should be in good physical and mental health and be able to keep up with the pace of the group. Please note all tours require an element of walking and activity levels vary according to individual tour schedules. Program participants requiring extraordinary assistance must be accompanied by someone who can provide all required assistance.  Members who book a trip are eligible to book additional seats for a guest. The number of guests allowed is dependent on seat availabilty. All guests must be 18 or older in order to participate. There are cancellation penalties in effect after a deposit has been received. Depending on the tour operator, trip and date of cancellation, these fees revolve on an incremental scale in relation to the date of departure.  Please read the Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy for your tour.

Each tour includes your accomodations, motorcoach transportation during the tour, and tour guide. Other fees and expenses are noted in each brochure. Meal inclusion varies by tour depending on the schedule. Travel insurance is also included in the event of accident and sickness expense or travel delay and emergency evacuation. Each trip also allows travlers to enjoy free time to pursue individual interest.
