The WCU Foundation's Scholars Showcase and Reception | October

A fresh format for a cherished tradition that brings together our generous donors and our incredible student scholarship and programmatic recipients they support. During the showcase, attendees will have the chance to listen to inspiring stories from current students, recent graduates, esteemed WCU alumni, dear friends, and dedicated donors. We hope that by the end of the evening, attendees will leave with newfound inspiration and a profound appreciation for the unwavering support of the Catamount family towards its students. The reception offers a unique opportunity to connect with each other and the wonderful experiential learning opportunities that abound on WCU's campus.

The WCU Foundation's Planting Day Luncheon | June

The event, now in its fourth year, is designed to thank those donors who comprise the Madison Legacy Society and the Cullowhee Society and honor their record of major financial contributions to the university. Established in 2020, the Madison Legacy Society recognizes donors who have made planned gifts to the university or the WCU Foundation, while the Cullowhee Society acknowledges cumulative giving of gifts totaling $100,000 or more. Both groups recognize lifetime giving to WCU and the critical impact of private philanthropy in helping many students achieve their goals of earning a university degree.
