About

The Coulter Faculty Commons (CFC) is a comprehensive Teaching and Learning center.  We partner with faculty, departments and programs in course design, evidence-based instructional approaches, assessment, curriculum mapping, new instructional methodologies, research and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.   We also provide consultations for using educational technology to support student engagement and success.

How Can We Help?

The CFC team is divided into two functional areas:

Faculty Partners –

Educational Developers, Instructional Designers, Research Support, and Educational Technologists partner with instructors to improve their teaching, instructional methods, course design, and use of educational technology to support student engagement. We also provide consultations on both quantitative and qualitative research, including the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).

Tech Partners –

LMS Analysts and Administrators are responsible for maintaining the back-end functions of the Canvas LMS and integrations.  We partner with the IT HelpDesk, which support all instructors with their questions and issues with Canvas.
