The Coulter Faculty Commons (CFC) is a comprehensive Teaching and Learning center.  We partner with faculty, departments and programs in course design, evidence-based instructional approaches, assessment, curriculum mapping, new instructional methodologies, research and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.   We also provide consultations for using educational technology to support student engagement and success.

How Can We Help?

The Coulter Faculty Commons Team works to create an environment where faculty can come together in the spirit of creativity, collaboration, and community, where becoming an even better teacher or mentor is the most significant and recognized achievement that any faculty member can seek and where students have superior learning opportunities and experiences.

We partner with all instructors, full-time contract, tenure-track, tenured, part-time, and graduate teaching assistants, to create significant, inclusive learning experiences for our students.  Facilitating student learning and success is at the core of our expertise.  We frequently post news about upcoming events, pedagogical best practices, current issues in teaching, and other topics in our blog.

We provide consultations on:
