Biography

Dr. Taya Kretz-Notelle is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) who has made significant contributions to the field of nurse anesthesia. She began her academic preparation with an Associate of Science in Nursing from Purdue University in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 2002, where she graduated with honors. She continued her education at South University in Savannah, Georgia, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Summa Cum Laude, in 2009. In 2012, she obtained her Master of Science in Anesthesia from Keiser University in Naples, Florida. Dr. Kretz-Notelle then went on to earn her Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where she received the Deans Award for her doctoral project on using ultrasound simulation to assess SRNA self-efficacy for performing ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia.
