Biography

Anna Dysart completed her master's degree in Clinical Nutrition and her dietetic internship at East Tennessee State University. She completed her doctoral degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise at Virginia Tech, with a focus on dissemination and implementation research. While at Virginia Tech, she worked with Cooperative Extension agents and specialists to increase knowledge and competency on physical activity programming and evidence based interventions. She has many years of experience as a long term care dietitian and is a Certified Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition.
