Biography

Dr. Kia Rokni (Mohammad Alimohammadirokni) was born in Iran, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in English Language and Literature. After teaching for almost a decade and working in the industry as a market researcher, he went to Italy to obtain his master’s degree in the Design of Sustainable Tourism Systems from the University of Florence and Texas Tech University to obtain his Ph.D. in hospitality, tourism, and retail management. He is passionate about unraveling the intricacies of consumer behavior in the context of hospitality and tourism. His research focuses on sustainability, consumer behavior, food and beverages, and technology in hospitality and tourism. His teaching experiences include food and beverage marketing and management courses.
