Edward Lopez is Professor of Economics and BB&T Distinguished Professor of Capitalism. He teaches principles and intermediate level economics, as well as Econ 344 Ethics of Capitalism. He publishes in the fields of institutional economics, political economy, and law & economics. He is Executive Director and Past President of the Public Choice Society, and previously he was founding director of WCU's Center for the Study of Free Enterprise.
