Annie Meyers is an alumni of Western Carolina University’s Nurse Anesthesia Program, graduating in 2011, and has remained dedicated to contributing to Nurse Anesthesia education throughout her career. She has worked in a variety of settings, practicing her area of expertise in pediatric anesthesia and providing clinical and didactic education to future generations of nurse anesthetists. She joined the faculty of WCUs Nurse Anesthesia Program as an Assistant Professor in 2023, where she strives to share her passion for the field of Nurse Anesthesia and Pediatric Anesthesia.<br><br>Annie currently maintains her clinical practice as a CRNA at several surgical sites in Western NC, where she is involved with SRNA clinical education, Evidence-Based Practice Initiatives, Quality and Performance Improvement Strategies, Patient Safety, and Peer Support. She loves living in Asheville, NC, and enjoys outdoor activities such as mountain biking and hiking.
