Dining

Courtyard Dining HallOn Campus Dining

We know that there are a lot of decisions to be made about hosting your event at Western Carolina University.  One of the most common questions that we answer is regarding food and the options over the summer.

The Catamount Cafe is where majority of our clients eat through out the duration of their stay.  Catamount Cafe has a little bit of everything for everyone.  This Cafe features seven different station with options such as a grilling area, pizza bar, made to order sandwiches, home zone and so much more! Our dining staff are more than willing to work with each group to accomodate dietary restrictions and/or allergens.

Additionally, throughout the summer, there are other dining options available for those who wish to purchase outside of their meal plan.  If you need a middle of the day pick-me-up, be sure to visit our Starbuck's on campus and enjoy a hot (or cold) beverage of choice.

Catering for All

If your program includes a special event or perhaps a celebration, consider creating a customized menu from our Catering department.  Our office takes pride in creating special moments throughout your stay.  For example, know that you will have a long meeting where caffeine is needed?  Consider a coffee break with dessert! What about celebrating a milestone within your group?  The Catering department can help you customize a delicious menu whether it be cake/punch or a sit down three course meal.

*Permits are required for alcohol service.

For more detailed information and options for your event, please don't hesitate to reach out for more details.  Catering options can also be found at the Catering website.
