Dr. Roya Scales, Professor of Literacy Education, David Scales, Assistant Professor of Psychology, and Tori Golden, two-time WCU graduate, and current Ph.D. student at the University of Georgia have published the article, Writing for Comprehension: How does Writing Influence Informational Reading Comprehension in the Elementary Classroom.

Tiernan Awarded BBRF Young Investigator Grant

Dr. Brandy Tiernan, Assistant Professor of Psychology, was awarded a 2021 Brain and Behavior Research Foundation Young Investigator Grant.

Bobilya and Colleagues Publish Paper

The third manuscript resulting from a five-year instrument development project with the North Carolina Outward Bound school was published this summer in the Journal of Outdoor Recreation, Education and Leadership (JOREL).
