INCIDENTS

4/8 0730 VANDALISM WALKER A LOT INVESTIGATION
                A student reported that someone had slashed a tire on his car.

        1330 LARCENY UC INVESTIGATION
                A female non-student reported that she had left her purse
                in a restroom near the theatre in the UC last night and now
                if is gone.

        1505 CAT CARDS UC RETURNED
                UC employees and Food Court employees gave officers
                8 Cat Cards that had been left in the facilities and not
                picked up.

        1720 LARCENY CENTRAL DR INVESTIGATION
                A student reported that someone stole the fog lights off his
                car while it was parked on Central Drive.

        2020 VANDALISM BENTON LOT INVESTIGATION
                A student reported that someone had broken his windshield
                with a BB or pellet gun.

        2220 LOST CELL PHONE LEATHERWOOD REPORT
                A student reported that he had lost his cell phone.

        2330 MV VIOLATION NC 107 CITATION
                Officers cited a female non-student with failing to carry her
                drivers license.

4/9 0030 ALCOHOL/ASSAULT BENTON HALL ARREST
                Officers found two female students in possession of alcohol
                in a stairwell in Benton. While investigating the source of the
                alcohol officers found two male students in possession of
                both alcohol and marijuana on the third floor. These were
                cooperative and referred to Judicial Affairs.

                Another male student was not cooperative, assaulted two
                officers causing a knee injury to one a back strain to the
                other. That student was charged with possession of marijuana,
                possession of paraphernalia, injury to personal property,
                2 counts of resisting arrest, 2 counts of assault on a government
                official, disorderly conduct, and intoxicated and disruptive. In
                addition, he allegedly assaulted deputies at the county jail and
                additional charges were filed.

        0140 DISORDERLY PERSON FOREST HILLS RD REPORT
                Officers saw a male employee cursing at a house on Forest Hills
                Road and found that he was angry because he had been asked to
                leave a party there.

        0222 EXPIRED REGISTRATION CAMPUS CITATION
                Officers cited a male employee for failing to carry his license
                and for an expired registration plate.

        1030 EGGED VEHICLE WALKER A IMPOUNDED
                Officers found a vehicle that had been egged in the Walker
                A lot. They also found that the parking decal on the car
                had been altered and towed the vehicle.

        1244 BURGLARY CENTRAL DR HALL INVESTIGATION
                A student reported finding that someone had apparently entered a
                room on the 2nd floor of the B Building through a window and moved
                things around in the suite.

        1200 CRUELTY TO ANIMAL CREEK LOT REPORT
                Officers found a dog locked in a hot car in the Creek lot during
                the yard sale at the Ramsey Center. Officer contacted the owner
                of the vehicle and warned about the seriousness of this situation.
        
        1230 BURGLARY/LARCENY BENTON INVESTIGATION
                A student reported that someone had entered his room on the
                ground floor of Benton between 4 p. m. on 4/8 and noon on
                4/9 and stolen a laptop computer, speakers, and a computer
                amplifier.

        1530 ALCOHOL VIOLATION SCOTT REFERRED
                As a result of a call for the use of incense, officers referred to
                male students to Judicial Affairs for underage possession of
                alcohol.

        1530 WEAPONS ALBRIGHT REFERRED
                Officers received a report of two males firing handguns behind
                Albright. Officers found two male students in possession of
                pellet guns, confiscated the guns, and referred the students
                to Judicial Affairs.
