Fourteen of the new Emigrants to Liberia (Africa) lately died of fever, occasioned by a long continuance of dry weather, and an excessive indulgence in the bountiful fruits of the climate. Mr. Randall, Governor of the colony, had also fallen a victim. Dr. Mecklin, the Vice-Agent, had assumed the executive duties. In other respects, the Colony is said to be improving.
