The 39th annual Language Contest at Western Carolina University saw some 120 high
school students test their knowledge of French and Spanish on April 26.
Held by the university’s Department of World Languages, participating regional schools
were Andrews High, McDowell High, Robbinsville High, Smoky Mountain High, Thomas Jefferson
Classical Academy, Tuscola High and Union Academy.
