Western Carolina University Chancellor Kelli R. Brown is leading an Honoring Our Promise tour that starts Monday, Feb. 7, and will take her to cities and counties across Catamount Nation this spring to engage one-on-one with alumni, donors and supporters.

The tour, which continues into June, will allow Chancellor Brown and other senior university leaders to share information and receive feedback on WCU’s top institutional priorities focused on academic excellence, student experience and athletic facilities enhancements.

The priorities were identified through conversations with students, faculty and alumni as well as an ongoing analysis of the educational, economic and workforce needs of Western North Carolina and the state.

“For WCU to be a preeminent regional comprehensive university, to be the answer for higher education in our state, to be the answer for workforce needs in our communities, for WCU to be the best at what we do — providing educational opportunities to our students with a focus on access and affordability — we must honor our promise to them. We need the help of all of our Catamount community to do this critical work and we look forward to seeing you on the road,” said Chancellor Brown.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network with other WCU alumni, friends and parents and engage with leadership. Tour stops include:
