Western Carolina University’s Faculty Senate will hold a public forum on the topic of faculty and staff salaries at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, in the theater of A.K. Hinds University Center.
The goal of the gathering is for WCU faculty and staff to become more informed about salary terminology, the budget process and the history of budget decisions that have shaped the current salary landscape, said Enrique Gomez, chair of the Faculty Senate.
Panelists will include Richard Starnes, interim provost; Cory Causby, associate vice chancellor for human resources; and Mike Byers, vice chancellor for administration and finance. Gomez will facilitate the discussion.
A question-and-answer session will be included.
