Resource drive underway for Hurricane Dorian victims in Bahamas

Western Carolina University’s Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. is partnering with the Center for Community Engagement and Service Learning to assist with hurricane relief in the Bahamas.

Earlier this month, the Bahamas were hit by Hurricane Dorian, which resulted in what is regarded as the worst natural disaster in the country’s history, leaving at least 70,000 people homeless. Kappa Alpha Psi and the center are holding a resource drive that began Monday, Sept. 16, and will run through Tuesday, Sept. 24. Items that are needed can be found HERE.

Items should be brought to the center’s office, Belk 273. To arrange to have items picked up, email laneperry@wcu.edu.
