NEH offering grant application writing workshop in Asheville

A grant application writing workshop is being offered by the National Endowment for the Humanities from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at the Sherrill Center at the University of North Carolina Asheville.

The free workshop, open to university faculty and staff who are pursuing funding in the humanities, will be presented by Geoff Burrows, senior program officer in the NEH Division of Research Programs. It is being co-hosted by Western Carolina University, Appalachian State University and UNCA.

A limited number of individual appointments with an NEH officer will be available in the afternoon and can be made by emailing Alison Krauss in WCU's Office of Research Administration at alkrauss@wcu.edu.
