‘WCU Night’ slated for Aug. 15 at Asheville Tourists baseball game
Western Carolina University will have a special place in the grandstands when the Asheville Tourists host the Charleston RiverDogs at historic McCormick Field on Thursday, Aug. 15.
It will be “WCU Night” at the South Atlantic League baseball game, with a Catamount
Nation section featuring 200 seats available for $7 each. The WCU athletics department
also is asking all faculty, staff, students, alumni and fans to show school pride
by wearing plenty of purple and WCU gear.
The game is set for 7:05 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance HERE or by calling the Tourists’ ticket office at 828-258-0428, ext. 3. Once purchased, tickets will be placed at the will-call window and available on game day.
