College of Health and Human Sciences faculty attend IPE/P workshop

Four faculty members from WCU’s College of Health and Human Sciences – Melissa Snyder (School of Health Sciences), Emma Miller (Department of Social Work), Tracie Rice (Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders) and April Messer (School of Nursing) – attended an Interprofessional Education and Practice workshop in April.
At that event, the faculty members developed a series of four professional development workshops scheduled for the upcoming fall semester that will assist other faculty members in implementing their own IPE/P initiatives.
The project is funded in part by a Provost Internal Grant and will provide the foundation for several IPE/P projects.
