Faculty Senate, Staff Senate set March meetings at University Center
Western Carolina University faculty and staff members can keep up with the activities of the university’s Faculty Senate and Staff Senate by attending public meetings those two bodies have scheduled in March.
A meeting of the Staff Senate is set for 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, in the Cardinal Room of A.K. Hinds University Center. Natalie Broom, chair of the Staff Senate, can be contacted for information at broomn@wcu.edu.
A regular business meeting of the Faculty Senate will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, in the Multipurpose Room at the University Center. Damon Sink, chair of the Faculty Senate, can be reached for more information at dwsink@wcu.edu.
Attendance of WCU employees at meetings of the university’s Staff Senate and Faculty Senate and related activities is considered work time (university service) with the appropriate approval of the individual’s supervisor.
