Christina L. Reitz , WCU associate professor of music, was a contributing author to “Women: Our Story,” a new publication released Feb. 5.

The book, with a foreword by journalist Rebecca Boggs Roberts, is a historical work presented through the perspective of the lives and influence of women. Reitz's contribution, "Through the Ages: Music," examines significant women composer/musicians and the role of women in music throughout Western history as part of the "Smashing the Glass Ceiling" chapter.

“Women: Our Story” is published by DK, a London publisher and member of the Penguin Random House division.
