Shakespeare's ‘Hamlet’ comes to big screen in Sunday Cinema Series
Western Carolina University’s Sunday Cinema Series continues Feb. 10 at 3 p.m. with the screening of “Hamlet” at the John W. Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center.
The showing is a pre-recorded screening from the National Theatre in London and will be shown in high definition on the big screen in the performance hall. The original 2015 National Theatre live broadcast has been seen by more than 750,000 people worldwide.
A William Shakespeare classic, “Hamlet” features the performance of internationally acclaimed and Academy Award nominee Benedict Cumberbatch in the role of Hamlet.
