Don Connelly , WCU professor of communication, was an invited guest for the International Radio and Television Society’s faculty industry seminar “Media Insiders 2019: Today’s Opportunities and Tomorrow’s Challenges” held Jan. 7-9 in Las Vegas.

Connelly was invited to attend the event, co-sponsored by the IRTS and the Consumer Technology Association, as an underwritten conferee and received free conference attendance and accommodations. He also was awarded a WCU professional development grant to help cover trip expenses.

While in Las Vegas, Connelly also attended the CTA’s consumer electronics show.
