Base Camp Cullowhee, Western Carolina University’s outdoor programming organization, will hold its sixth annual Outdoor Gear Sale and Swap from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, on the lawn of A.K. Hinds University Center.

Admission to the event is free.

Base Camp Cullowhee will be selling used outdoor equipment such as canoes and sleeping bags, and local individuals and businesses are invited to rent a vendor table to sell their outdoor gear. The cost for a table is $10 for individuals and $30 for businesses.

Vendor registration is available by coming by Base Camp’s Adventure Shop in the Campus Recreation Center during regular business hours or by visiting myrec.wcu.edu. The deadline to register is 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15.
