Aqua fitness class to be offered on campus beginning Aug. 27

Western Carolina University’s Office of Professional Growth and Enrichment will be offering an aqua fitness class starting Monday, Aug. 27, at WCU’s Reid Gymnasium in Cullowhee.

Classes will meet Monday through Thursday, 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., through Thursday, Dec. 6.

Participants can expect to learn about a variety of aqua exercises designed to increase cardiovascular endurance. Benefits of water aerobics include allowing a person to exercise every muscle and every joint in the body all at the same time.
