Title: Accelerating Economic Growth through Commercialization in Western North Carolina

Description: year 2 of a 5-year project to facilitate the commercialization of new products or the implementation of new manufacturing processes through a comprehensive suite of engineering and business counseling services.

Title: DLA (Defense Logistics Agency)

Description: to carry out Procurement Technical Assistance Center activities under the Defense Logistics Agency Cooperative Agreement with the NC SBTDC.

Title: Farm Agricultural Resources and Mediation in Virginia (FARM-VA)

Description: year 2 of an innovative academic-practice partnership to increase the number of primary care nurse practitioners in rural and underserved areas. The 2-year project ($1,387,223) will support 40 student trainees.

Title: Paul Fink book reissue assistance

Funder: UNC Press Office of Scholarly Publishing Services

Amount: $3,500

Description: to support Hunter Library in republishing a manuscript by Paul Fink, an early twentieth century adventurer into the Great Smoky and Roan Mountains, titled Backpacking Was the Only Way.

Title: Pilot-testing the Safety Climate Assessment Tool (S-CATSC) for Small Hispanic Construction Firms

PI: Ahmed Al-Bayati

Funder: The Center for Construction Research and Training

Description: to translate and validate the Safety Climate Assessment Tool (S-CATSC) among a population of Hispanic contractors and workers.

Title: The Multimedia Lab at Hunter Library: Supporting the WCU Community as Creators
