2046 06-04590 Traffic Accident Madison Report

     Officers are investigating a hit and run accident involving damage
to a vehicle while it was parked in the Madison parking lot.

0219 06-04596 Harassment Reynolds Report

     Officers are investigated harassment involving someone repeatedly
tampering with items on a student's door.

 

1030 06-04600 Traffic Accident Water Tower Lot Report

     Officers are investigating a hit and run accident involving damage
to a vehicle while it was parked in the Water Tower lot.

 

1210 06-04603 Traffic Accident Central Drive Report

     Officers investigated a two car accident involving one vehicle
pulling into the path of another.

 

1457 06-04605 Traffic Accident Reynolds Report

     Officers investigated a two car accident involving a vehicle
hitting a parked vehicle while trying to pull into a parking space.

 

1917 06-04609 Burglar Alarm UC Report

     Officers responded to a burglar alarm at the UC did not locate a
problem.

 

1944 06-04610 Alcohol/Drug Violations Walker Hall
Arrest & Referral

     A student in Walker Hall was issued state citations and UJC's for
possession of marijuana, paraphernalia, and underage possession of
alcohol. The UJC also included a charge for possession of State Property
(a fire extinguisher).

 

2100 06-04614 Alarm UC Report

     Officers responding to a burglar alarm at the UC did not locate a
problem.

 

2326 06-04615 Drug Violation Harrill Hall Referral

     One student in Harrill Hall received a UJC for possession of
Marijuana and two students received UJC's for possession of
paraphernalia.

0010 06-04616 Alcohol Violation Harrill Hall
Arrest/Referral

     A student at Harrill Hall received a state citation and a UJC for
underage possession of alcohol.

 

0335 06-04619 Vandalism Scott Report

     Officers investigated a fire extinguisher being discharged on 3rd
floor east wing of Scott Hall.

 

1647 06-04626 Fire Alarm Scott Report

     Cullowhee Fire Department responded and officers investigated where
a fire alarm pull station was activation in Scott Hall.

 

2305 06-04630 Traffic Violation Speedwell Road Citation

     A student received a state citation for speeding 46 in a 20 mph
zone on Speedwell Road.

0206 06-04633 Disruptive Student Scott Arrest

     A student who was checked by EMS regarding intoxication was then
was arrested by officers and charged with being drunk and disruptive
after displaying violent outburst.

 

1220 06-04637 Fire Alarm Scott Hall Report

     Officers responded to a fire alarm activation at Scott Hall
involving a pull station being activated. Facilities Management was
notified.

 

1200 06-04638 Larceny Baptist Church lot Report

     Officers are investigation the theft of a Kayak from the top of a
student's vehicle while it was parked in the Baptist Church Lot.

 

1452 06-04641 Fire Alarm Stillwell Report

     The Cullowhee Fire Department, EMS and the police responded to a
fire alarm activation involving the smell of smoke at the Stillwell
building. It is believed to have been caused by a problem with a
florescent light fixture.

 

1520 06-04642 Fight/Horseplay Scott Report

     Officers investigating fight that occurred earlier in the night at
Scott found the incident began with two intoxicated student's horse
playing and ended with one student receiving an injury to the face that
required medical attention at the emergency room.

 

2244 06-04647 Alcohol Violation Harrill Referral

     One student received a UJC for underage possession/consumption of
alcohol in a room occupied by underage students and another student
(also underage) received a UJC for allowing alcohol to be brought into
her room and consumed by an underage person.

0113 06-04648 Fire Trouble Student Union Report

     The police department was notified of a fire trouble signal at the
Student Union and Facilities Management was notified.

 

0320 06-04650 Burglar Alarm UC Report

     Officers responding to a burglar alarm at the UC did not locate any
problems.

 

0335 06-04651 Vandalism/Stolen Property Albright Arrest
x3/Referrals x2

     Following a report of furniture being thrown from the windows of
Albright Hall the WCU officers assisted by a Jackson County Deputy and
Residential Living staff located 3 male non-student suspects hiding
behind Subway and two male student suspects inside Albright. The 3
non-students were arrested for Resist/ Obstruct & Delay and banned from
campus and the 2 student received UJC's. Further charges are possibly
pending.

 

0952 06-04655 Burglar Alarm Bookstore Report

     Officers responding to an alarm at the Bookstore did not locate any
problems.

 

2300 06-04663 DWI/Drug Violation Forrest Hills/Summit
Arrest

     A female student was arrested for DWI and possessing marijuana and
paraphernalia.

0330 06-04667 Burglar Alarm UC Report

     Officers responding to a burglar alarm at the UC were unable to
locate a problem.

 

0444 06-04668 Alcohol/Drug Violations Leatherwood
Referrals x 5

     A disturbance at Leatherwood resulted in UJC charges to 3 students
for underage consumption/possession of alcohol, two students for
underage consumption of alcohol, providing alcohol to other underage
persons, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. A warning was issued
to one non-student and the parents of another non-student were called to
come to WCU and get him.

 

0344 06-04669 Trouble Alarm Norton Hall Report

     The police department was notified of a trouble alarm at Norton
Hall and Facilities Management was notified.

 

0634 06-04670 Fire Alarm Bird Building Report

     Cullowhee Fire Department and officers responded to a fire alarm at
the Bird building. The alarm reset and the problem was not indicated.

 

1005 06-04671 Fire Alarm Village Report

     The fire department and officers responding to the fire alarm at
the 500 & 700 buildings at the Village believe it was activated by food
accidentally burning on the stove.

  

1959 06-04675 Elevator Malfunction Harrill Report

     Officers assisted Facilities Management when an elevator stopped
between floors with a student was inside.
