Further Investigation

            A contractor reported damage to construction equipment.

Report

            A "wheel lock" sign was removed from the Belk Lot.

 

1330 05-2408 Larceny From Mtr.Veh Off Campus
Report

            A student reported his parking decal was taken from his
vehicle

            while it was in another county.

 

1355 05-2410 Gas Leak Baptist Lot
Report

            Officers responded to a vehicle leaking gas in the Baptist
Church

Parking Lot. The owner was notified and

moved the vehicle. Facilities Management placed absorbent

material over the leaked gas.

 

1432 05-2411 Alarm Hunter
Library Report

            Officers responded to an alarm in Hunter Library.

            No trouble located.

Science Report

            Officers investigated a minor accident in a parking lot.

Dr. Report

            Officers investigated an accident in front of Killian.

 

2200 05-2413 DWLR Centennial
Dr. Citation

            Officers issued a citation to a male student for driving
while license

            revoked, expired tag and no insurance. Officers also
discovered

            there was an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in
his home

            county.

Report

            Officers responded to an alarm. A child pulled the alarm.

Report

            Officers received a report of a problem between a male and

            female on the grounds of the Fine and Performing Arts

            Building. Officers intervened and separated them.

 

1925 05-2420 Underage Possession McKee Lot
Report

            A male student was issued a citation for underage possession

            of alcohol.

 

2045 05-2417 Welfare Check Campus
Report

            Officers located a male student whose parents were worried.
The

            student contacted his parents.

 

2315 05-2418 Vandalism Village
Report

            A student reported his car had been sprayed with soap and
wrapped

            in plastic. The responsible students were referred to
Judicial Affairs.

 

2243 05-2419 Warrant Campus
Report

            Officers issued a citation to a male student for no
insurance and

            expired registration. Jackson County held a warrant for his
arrest

            for fraud.

            Officers responded to a dispute between a male and a female

            due to a breakup of their relationship.

Report

            Officers discovered trash cans overturned outside of
Forsyth.

 

1505 05-2423 Vandalism Norton Hall
Report

            Officers responded to a vandalism call where someone had

            thrown some substance on a car.

 

1915 05-2425 Assist LEA Off Campus
Report

            Sylva Police Officers requested University Officer's
assistance

            in locating a student thought to have been involved in a
minor

            traffic accident. The student was located and contacted
Sylva

            Police.

 

2020 05-2428 Handicap Violation Harrill Lot
Citation

            A male student was issued a citation for unauthorized
parking in

            a handicap space.

 

2052 05-2424 Vandalism Scott Hall
Further Investigation

            An incident involving the breaking of a fire head sprinkler
in Scott Hall

            is under investigation.
