A female non-student was charged with driving while impaired
and driving left of center.

Further Investigation
Officers investigated the theft of two lounge chairs from
the Village.

Report
Officers responded to an alarm at the Fine and Performing
Arts Center. No trouble located.

A male student was charged with underage possession of

Report
Officers assisted Jackson County Officers at a license
Checkpoint.
0230 Alcohol Violations NC 107 Arrest
A male non-student was charged with driving while impaired
and driving after consuming under 21 years of age.
0948 Assist Guest Central Dr. Hall Report
Officers assisted a guest who became ill during a
visit to the campus.
1838 Suspicious Person SR 1002 Report
Jackson County authorities asked Western Officers to
check a suspicious person on the bridge on the Old
Cullowhee Rd. Officers reported the person seemed
O.K.
2001 Assist LEA Off Campus
Report
Because all Jackson County Deputies were busy, Western's
Officers were asked to check a report of a stolen car near
Campus. Western Officers located the car and the incident
was
followed up by Jackson County Officers.
2216 Assist LEA Campus
Report
Officers assisted Jackson County Officers in locating a
student for an interview concerning an off-campus incident.
2240 Fireworks Leatherwood Report
Officers confiscated some fireworks. The owners did
not realize they were illegal on campus.
2338 NOL Little Savannah Rd.
Citation
Officers issued a citation to a non-student for no
operator's
license.

0045 DWI Centennial Dr.
Arrest
A male non-student was arrested for driving while impaired.
A passenger in the vehicle was also involved in knocking
over a construction barrel. The passenger was required to
right the construction barrel which he had knocked over
while
leaning out the passenger side door.
0257 Assist EMS Cullowhee Heights Report
Western Officers assisted EMS with a victim experiencing
severe medical problems. The victim was transported
to Harris Regional Hospital.
