Investigation

            University Officers are investigating the disappearance of a
handheld

            PDA and a mini DV Camcorder from a classroom in the Outreach

            Center.

1910 NOL Central Dr.
Citation

            A male student was issued citations for no operators license
and

            following too closely.

0302 Fatality Off Campus
Further Investigation

            University Officers were requested to assist at Edgewater
Road

            where Jackson County authorities reported a person had been
hit by

            a car. When officers arrived the victim was deceased. The
North Carolina

            Highway Patrol and Jackson County authorities are continuing
the

            Investigation.
