Report

            A cell phone and sunglasses found on a car were returned to
the

            owner.

1145 Alarm Village
Report

            Officers responded to an alarm at the Village. No trouble.
Alarm

            caused by construction.

 

1150 Lost Purse Albright Hall
Case Closed

            A student reported that she left her purse in a restroom and
when she returned

            to retrieve it, it was gone. She reported it stolen. In
the meantime another student

            came to the police department and reported finding it in the
restroom and turned it

            in. All the contents were in the purse. Owner and purse
were reunited.

 

            Apology Brown Cafeteria
Report

            The two students involved in a food fight at Brown Cafeteria
have been identified

            and admitted their participation. They have apologized to
the cafeteria

            employees.

 

1215 Lost Purse Univ. Center
Report

            A student reported she lost her purse in the University
Center Food Court.

            Officers assisted her in canceling credit cards and her CAT
Card.

 

1230 Communicating Threats Campus
Further Investigation

            University officers are investigating a student's charge
that he was threatened

            by another student's spouse for his political beliefs aired
in class/group debate.

 

1800 Aggravated Assault Harrill Hall
Further Investigation

            A student reported being hit by a "bb" or an airsoft gun.
No injury.

 

2030 Speeding Belk Lane Entrance
Citation

            University officers charged a female student with 41 mph in
a 20 mph zone.

 

2200 Speeding Centennial Dr.
Citation

            University officers charged a female student with 42 mph in
a 20 mph zone.

 

2247 Harassment Harrill Hall
Pending

            University officers investigated a male student's complaint
of harassing

            emails and notes left on his door.

 

2310 Speeding Traffic Circle Area
Citation

            Officers charged a non-student with speeding too fast for
conditions.

Report

            A report of a suspicious person turned out to be a person
out for

            a walk. The person was identified.

 

0156 Call Box Activation Helder Lot
Report

            Officers responded to a call box activation. No one
