3/18 0815 VANDALISM CENTRAL DR HALL INVESTIGATION
Officers reported that someone had rolled a concrete trash container
down the stairs north of Central Drive Hall destroying it. The con-
tainer is valued at $700.
0817 LARCENY S. BASEBALL FIELD INVESTIGATION
Contractors reported that someone had stolen a quantity of
specialized communications tools, coveralls, a battery charger,
and other items from a company vehicle parked in the south
baseball field lot overnight.
0916 VANDALISM LEATHERWOOD INVESTIGATION
Housekeepers reported that someone had torn down a towel
dispenser and broken a window in a bathroom in Leatherwood.
1240 FAIL TO APPEAR MCKEE ARREST
Officers received an warrant for the arrest of a student for
failing to appear in court in Buncombe County and served
it on the student in McKee.
1956 LARCENY A/B LOT INVESTIGATION
A student reported that someone had stolen a stereo system from
his car while it was parked in the Albright/Benton Lot over the last
week. His wallet was also stolen from the car.
2053 ARREST ALBRIGHT ASSIST
Officers assisted deputies in serving a criminal summons for
assault on a male student in connection with a fight that occurred
at the Sig Ep House this week.
3/19 0330 VANDALISM CENTRAL DR HALL ARREST
Students reported a male damaging cars in the parking lot
with a fire extinguisher, breaking a glass in one vehicle and
spraying the extinguishers on the other. Officers apprehended
the male student suspect and charged him with misuse of a
fire extinguishing system (2 counts), damage to personal property
(3 counts), and resisting arrest because he struggled when
officers attempted to handcuff him.
1431 SUSPICIOUS PERSON SCOTT HALL REPORT
A male student reported that a suspicious person was
banging on his door in Scott. Officers could not locate the
subject.
1743 UNSECURED DOOR GOLF SHED REPORT
Officers found the door to the golf shed unsecured.
1828 HIT & RUN SCOTT HALL REPORT
A student reported that someone had struck her car and
left the scene in front of Scott sometime during the previous
night.
1600 LOOSE WIRE ALBRIGHT REPORT
Officers received a report of a loose electrical wire where an
exit sign was missing in Albright on the 1st floor and also
received information that one student had been shocked
slightly when he touched it. Facilities Management notified
and repaired the problem.
1830 ALARM/VANDALISM LEATHERWOOD INVESTIGATION
Officers responded to a fire alarm in Leatherwood and found that
someone had knocked a detector head from the ceiling on the 3rd
floor west. No fire.
2110 ALARM UC NO FIRE
Cause is unknown. The alarm was not sounding at the UC.
2225 CALL BOX BAPTIST CH LOT NO CONTACT
Officers found no one in the area. Cause is unknown.
3/20 0038 CALL BOX BASEBALL FLD LOT NO CONTACT
Officers found no one in the area. The cause is unknown.
0121 MV VIOLATION CENTENNIAL DR CITATION
Officers cited a female student for failing to stop at a stop light.
0143 DWI CENTRAL DR ARREST
Officers arrested a male student for DWI, reckless driving, and
possessing and altered drivers license.
0638 VANDALISM SCOTT HALL INVESTIGATION
Someone turned over a coke machine, broke ceiling tiles, and
trashed the 5th floor hallway and bathroom of Scott Hall.
0819 ASSIST ATHLETICS RAMSEY REPORT
Officers assisted a trainer in getting into Ramsey to work.
1044 DRUG ARREST LEATHERWOOD ARREST
In connection with an incident earlier this week, officers
charged a male student with possession of paraphernalia.
1115 VANDALISM NAT SCIENCE INVESTIGATION
Someone broke bricks from the brickyard outside Natural Science
and threw one through a window.
1205 VANDALISM SCOTT LOT INVESTIGATION
A student reported that someone had cut all four of his tires on his
car and dented a fender overnight.
