Report

            Officers investigated a minor traffic accident. No
injuries.

0939 Larceny from Mtr. Veh. Scott Hall
Further Investigation

            A permanent license tag stolen from a state vehicle was
found by a student

            in the bed of a pickup truck.

 

1127 Failure to Stop University Way
Citation

            A student was cited for failure to stop for a stop sign.

 

1255 Impounded Vehicle Baptist Lot
Report

            Officers impounded a vehicle with a broken window after the
owner could

            not be determined. The car has a fictitious tag.

 

1415 Lost Cell Phone Unknown Location
Report

            A student reported he left his cell phone on top of his car
and drove to

            Sylva. The phone apparently fell off somewhere between
campus

            and Sylva.

 

1450 Larceny Hunter Library
Further Investigation

            Officers investigated the theft of two network cables from
computers in the

            library.

 

1634 Fraudulent Registration Helder Lot
Report

            A freshman had his parking privileges revoked for having a
fraudulent registration

            on his car.

            

 

2300 Threats Leatherwood Hall
Report

            University officers investigated a report from a male
student that another

            male (Non- Western Student) had threatened him because he
was communicating

with the non-student's ex-girlfriend. Officers warned the non- student

of the consequences from further threats.

0145 Assist LEA Little Savannah Rd.
Report

            Jackson County officers requested the assistance of
University Police at

            an apartment on a drug call. Nine people were in the
apartment where

            a large amount of drugs, cash, paraphernalia and a weapon
were seized.

Seven of the nine people in the apartment are students.

Two males, both students, were arrested by Jackson County officers.
